ABOUT US
Whether we are hosting a One Picture 1000 Words paint and sip, leading school programs, or setting the vibe at a corporate event, our mission stays the same: to inspire, to engage, and to leave every space brighter than we found it.
We do not just count impact in numbers. We see it in the smiles, the stories, and the sparks of creativity that unfold. Come experience it for yourself or reach out to bring the Scenic Root Art touch to your next event.
More than people often realize, Art is what makes life tolerable.
― Rachel Jackson

OUR VISION
At Scenic Root Art, we are all about creating meaningful artistic experiences that spark joy, build confidence, and inspire positive change. We believe creativity is a powerful tool for connection, and there is no one size fits all way to uplift a community. That is why our work blends immersive environments, innovative programming, and artist centered platforms designed to empower people of all ages and backgrounds.
“the free soul is rare, but you know it when you see it - basically because you feel good, very good, when you are near or with them.”
― Charles Bukowski

RACHEL JACKSON
Owner|Curator
Rachel Jackson is a contemporary artist whose work reflects personal history, cultural influence, and lived experience. Her creative style is rooted in exploration and expression, shaped by a lifelong connection to art and storytelling.
Raised in Sacramento, California, Rachel relocated to Allentown, Pennsylvania in 1996, where her artistic voice continued to evolve. Early in her journey, access to art materials and open creative space at the Boys and Girls Club on 6th Street gave her the freedom to experiment, create, and grow with confidence.
In 2018, she founded Scenic Root Art, grounded in her philosophy that the art is in the beauty found along the journey, wherever it leads.
Through Scenic Root Art, Rachel curates immersive and inclusive creative experiences, from workshops and youth programming to community events designed to make art accessible, expressive, and empowering.
“Creating a positive experience for others acts as a muse in many ways... vicarious joy is as good as your own and knowing that I have contributed to someone else’s energy in a positive way is very fulfilling for me...”
-Rachel Jackson
